This meeting is considered to be very important in the wake of increasing tension between the troops of India and China on the southern side of Pegong Lake last week. On June 15, there was a violent clash between the soldiers of China and India, in which 20 soldiers including a colonel of India were killed. A large number of Chinese soldiers were also killed, although China never officially announced it.
