The BJP has once again targeted the Congress on the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation on Monday. The BJP has claimed that Mehul Choksi, Zakir Naik, Rana Kapoor, etc., accused in the Punjab National Bank scam, gave money to the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation. BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra has made some big claims about this by making the check number public.

BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said in the press conference, ‘Mehul Choksi is an accused in the Punjab National Bank fraud case. The matter is going on with this. The Rajiv Gandhi Foundation has received several lakhs of rupees from Mehul Choksi. The Gitanjali Group belongs to Mehul and comes under a company called M / s Naviraj Estates. This company has donated Rs 10 lakh to the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation on August 29, 2014 through check number 676400. Patra said, ‘Naviraj Estates is of Rohan Choksi, and Rohan is the son of Mehul Choksi. Mehul Choksi is also a director in this company.

Attacking Congress, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra further said, ‘Rana Kapoor donated Rs 9 lakh 45 thousand to Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, a fund from Yes Bank. The money was diverted from Yes Bank account to Rajiv Gandhi Foundation. At the same time, the BJP also claimed Zakir Naik that he too had given money to the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation.

The BJP leader said about Zakir Naik that its foundation is named Islamic Research Foundation. It is under investigation under money laundering. It donated Rs 50 lakh to the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation. DCB bank account. This account number is seized.

Let me tell you that earlier even during the UPA regime, BJP has accused the Prime Minister Relief Fund money diverted to the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation. The BJP had alleged that the PMNRF was created to help people in crisis, but money was being donated to the RGF during the tenure of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government.
