Before the Indian Premier League (IPL) debut, Chennai Super Kings star batsman Suresh Raina says that his entire team is full of good leaders. Suresh Raina also announced his retirement shortly after Mahendra Singh Dhoni retired from international cricket on Saturday (August 15). Both Dhoni and Raina have retired from international cricket, but will continue to play in the IPL. Raina said that the secret of the success of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL is that they have leaders in the team.

Chennai Super Kings are one of the most successful teams in the history of IPL. CSK has won the IPL title three times under Dhoni’s captaincy. Since the first season of IPL 2008, this team has managed to make its place in the playoffs every time. In 2016 and 2017, CSK was banned. Apart from this, this team has reached the record eight times in the remaining 10 seasons.

The IPL 2020 will be played in the UAE between 19 September and 10 November this year. A few CSK players have been camping and practicing in Chennai before leaving for the UAE for the IPL. The camp includes players like Ambati Rayudu, Piyush Chawla, Deepak Chahar, Kedar Jadhav, Karan Sharma along with Dhoni and Raina and practicing heavily on the nets. Talking about CSK, Suresh Raina said that the team has 11 captains along with captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Dhoni is at the top of all this, who guides everyone.

Suresh Raina said in an interview with ‘Cricbuzz’, “Everyone in our team is the captain. Dwayne Bravo, Faf Duplesey, Ashwin and Mahendra Singh Dhoni are all in the team, who have been captains. Then I am, I have captained both India and IPL. I think we have 11 captains, but Raja is at the top, who guides everyone from behind the stumps. ”

He said, “So it’s a great experience to be around this franchise. And on that we have South Africa captain Faf Duplesey, Stephen Fleming, who has been the best captain in New Zealand. There is Michael Hussey, Matthew Hayden, who has dominated the IPL. These people interact a lot with young players.
