Prime Minister Narendra Modi is meeting with Chief Ministers of 10 states today through a video conferencing to review the condition of corona virus. This is PM Modi’s seventh conversation with the Chief Ministers on the Corona virus crisis. In this meeting with PM Modi, the Chief Ministers of Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and West Bengal are meeting through video conferencing.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is also present in the meeting of PM Modi and the Chief Ministers of the states.

Earlier on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a virtual meeting with Chief Ministers of six states – Assam, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Kerala – to take stock of the flood situation. Earlier in June, PM Modi held a final meeting to review the corona virus.

If we talk about the condition of corona in the country, then on Tuesday, more than 50 thousand new cases of corona virus have been reported in the country. In the last 24 hours 53,601 new cases have been found, while 871 people have died. In this way, the total number of infected people increased to 22,68,676.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health, there are 6,39,929 active patients in the country. In addition, 15,83,490 people have been cured. At the same time, if we look at the figure of total dead, it has increased to 45,257. The government said that the death rate has come down from two percent to 1.99%, while 69.80% people have recovered. Maharashtra, where corona virus occupies the top number of cases, while Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh occupy the second and third position respectively.
