In Bhima-Koregaon violence case, Pune Police simultaneously conduct raids in Jharkhand, Mumbai, Chhattisgarh, Hyderabad and other places; Several Naxal sympathizers arrested.
The Pune police conducted raids in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh today against alleged Naxal sympathizers.
This is a second major crackdown by the Pune police following the raids in April connecting the dots following the violence that shook Bhima Koregaon.
According to sources, after the raids in the case of Bhima Koregaon violence, the poet Varvara Rao, Gautam Navlakha and Sudha Bhardwaj have been arrested so far.
All the accused have been booked under the Prevention of Illegal Activities Act.
