Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his Mann Ki Baat termed as historic the passage of SC, ST Prevention of Atrocities Amendment Bill and OBC Commission Bill. He assured Muslim women of center’s commitment to the triple talaq legislation.
Prime Minister hailed the recently concluded Monsoon session of Parliament as historic. He said members of treasury and opposition benches got together and passed historic bills empowering SC, ST, and OBCs
Prime Minister said that the bill providing for stringent punishment to rapists confirms government’s resolve to uphold the honor of women as the top priority.
Prime Minister also asserted that his government is committed to providing justice to Muslim women victims of Triple Talaq.
He also Thanked the parliamentarians for rising above political differences and conducting the parliament in a smooth and productive manner.
